THE INSTALLATION DINNER TO WELCOME THE NEW PRESIDENT
Thursday 21 March 2019 at Clothworkers’ Hall
The Installation Dinner this year will be held at Clothworkers’ Hall, Dunster Court, Mincing Lane, London EC3, at 7:00 pm for 7:30 on Thursday 21 March, following the earlier Annual General Meeting (for which notice will be sent separately).
This is the incoming President’s first event of his year and it is hoped that as many members as possible will want to support Brian Wadsworth and welcome him to office. Our guest speaker will be Alderman Alison Gowman, and musical entertainment will be provided by a jazz quartet from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Since our last visit to this Hall in 2015, the Clothworkers have commissioned a tapestry designed by Chris Ofili and woven by the renowned Dovecot Tapestry Studio in Edinburgh. Entitled The Caged Bird’s Song, the tapestry has now been permanently installed in the Livery Hall.
The cost of the dinner is £112. Please book your party no later than Monday 10 March, either by email or by downloading a booking form.
