DESCRIPTION:Come and join us for a visit to Homepage – The Charterhouse an almshouse and historic estate dating back to medieval and Tudor times which is now home to a vibrant contemporary community. \nItinerary \n17.30                 Arrive at Charterhouse from 5.30pm for a pre tour glass of wine \n18.00                 Guided tour of the Charthouse \n19.30                Approximate tour finish time. \n20:00                We will then cross over the road for supper at Dine in Style at Chez Mal Brasserie & Bar | Malmaison London where we will choose from the set menu (two courses with drinks). \nCost \nTotal cost to attend both the Tour and the Supper will be £80 per person. \nThe closing date for bookings is 23:30 on 17th August – We will then contact everyone who is attending the super to confirm menu choices so that the Restaurant have these by their deadline of 24th August. \nAccessibility \nThe Charterhouse has step free access and the full details can be found at Facilities and Access – The Charterhouse \nSee you there!

DESCRIPTION:* BOOKINGS OPEN SOON *\nThe United Wards Club of the City of London was founded on 30 October 1877\, and we shall commemorate this at our Founders’ Day Dinner\, which this year will be held at Glaziers Hall\, the only Livery building on the South side of the River Thames\, with breathtaking views across to the City of London. \nEvent notes: \n\nDress code:  Black Tie\nA black dinner suit and black bow tie with white dress shirt for men\nA midi\, calf-length or long dress\, or an evening suit comprising a jacket with dress\, trousers or a skirt\, or smart trousers or mid-length skirt with a jacket or sleeved top in an evening fabric for women.\nPhotographs will be taken during the event\, and some may be added to our archives\, online. DESCRIPTION:* BOOKINGS OPEN SOON *\nMansion House is the official residence of the Lord Mayor of London\, located in the heart of the City of London. Built in the 1740s in the Palladian style by architect George Dance the Elder\, this Grade I listed building is renowned for its grand architecture and historical significance. \nGuided by a knowledgeable City of London Guide\, you’ll journey through beautifully preserved rooms and catch a glimpse of the exquisite Harold Samuel Collection. \nAccessibility note about Mansion House \nThe building is equipped with a ramp for easy access\, disabled toilet facilities\, a sound loop in the Egyptian Hall\, and lift access to all floors. However\, please note that much of the art collection is located on staircases\, which may make it challenging to view the entire collection. More detailed accessibility information is hosted on the Mansion House Events website. \nAfter the tour we will take the short 10 minute walk from Mansion House to Native at the King’s Wardrobe on Carter Lane\, right by where the United Wards Club was founded in 1877. A lovely small cafe/bar/restaurant with very welcoming staff\, the lunch menu is along the lines of sandwiches / salad bowls / soup\, but attendees are more than welcome to join us for just some coffee and cake or a glass of wine. \nIf you would like to join us at Native at the King’s Wardrobe\, please RSVP using the button below – No requirement to pre-order any food\, we just need to confirm numbers with the venue so they know how big an area to reserve for us. \nDon’t miss this unique opportunity to experience a piece of the City of London’s rich history.

DESCRIPTION:*  BOOKINGS OPEN SOON *\nThis year\, our Carol Service will be held at St Lawrence Jewry next to Guildhall .  Destroyed in the Great Fire of London in 1666\, and rebuilt to the designs of Sir Christopher Wren. it is the official church of the Lord Mayor of London. \nAfterwards luncheon will be served at The Hall – Wax Chandlers on Gresham Street\, a site that the Company has owned since 1501. \nEvent notes: \n\nDress code:  Business suits for Gentlemen. Day dresses for Ladies\, with hats optional but encouraged.\nPhotographs will be taken during the event\, and some may be added to our archives\, online.
