DESCRIPTION:UWC is keen to show its support by joining an exquisite culinary experience at the Big Curry Lunch Fundraiser\, hosted at the historic Guildhall in the heart of the City of London. \nWhat to Expect: Event Highlights: \n\nSavor an indulgent curry lunch in the grandeur of Guildhall.\nHosted by the distinguished Lord Mayor\, demonstrating the City’s unwavering support for members of His Majesty’s Armed Forces and veterans.\nAll proceeds from this event will directly benefit the three National Service Charities: The Army Benevolent Fund\,  Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity\, and Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund.\n\nA scrumptious curry lunch featuring a variety of authentic dishes. \nAn opportunity to connect with the community and show support for our military personnel\, veterans\, and their families. The President’s parents will lead you through the regency-style red brick façade\, the private grounds\, and the meticulously restored interiors\, highlighting its architectural and historical significance.\nAfternoon Tea: Enjoy a sparkling afternoon tea in the grandeur of the Queen Anne dining room which has a listed late-18th Century plaster decorated ceiling in Adam style.\nExclusive Insights: Learn directly about the house’s transformation from a nursing home back into a stunning single-family residence by its current owners. Discover the careful and sensitive restorations that have brought the house back to its former glory\, including the refurbishment of the Kitchen/Breakfast Room and the addition of new internal structures in the context of its architectural evolution.\n\nAdditional Information: \n\nLocation: Full address details will be given a few days before the event. Members to make their own travel arrangements. Parking will be available for all attendees on-site.\nAccessibility: There is a step to enter the building and a grand staircase to be navigated to view the first floor.
