Mansion House Tour and lunch – 20 November 2026
* BOOKINGS OPEN SOON *
Mansion House is the official residence of the Lord Mayor of London, located in the heart of the City of London. Built in the 1740s in the Palladian style by architect George Dance the Elder, this Grade I listed building is renowned for its grand architecture and historical significance.
Guided by a knowledgeable City of London Guide, you’ll journey through beautifully preserved rooms and catch a glimpse of the exquisite Harold Samuel Collection.
Accessibility note about Mansion House
The building is equipped with a ramp for easy access, disabled toilet facilities, a sound loop in the Egyptian Hall, and lift access to all floors. However, please note that much of the art collection is located on staircases, which may make it challenging to view the entire collection. More detailed accessibility information is hosted on the Mansion House Events website.
After the tour we will take the short 10 minute walk from Mansion House to Native at the King’s Wardrobe on Carter Lane, right by where the United Wards Club was founded in 1877. A lovely small cafe/bar/restaurant with very welcoming staff, the lunch menu is sandwiches / salad bowls / soup, but attendees are more than welcome to join us for just some coffee and cake or a glass of wine.
If you would like to join us at Native at the King’s Wardrobe, please RSVP using the button below – No requirement to pre-order any food, we just need to confirm numbers with the venue so they know how big an area to reserve for us.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to experience a piece of the City of London’s rich history.
